Andreas Kindt

Managing Partner

Andreas Kindt (born in 1964), has more than 25 years of experience in the ITC industry. He started his career in product marketing with Nixdorf Computer AG in 1987 and transferred to Detecon Consulting as project manager and consultant. In 1997, he became authorised officer of Berkom GmbH and then managing director of the software business with T-Systems Nova GmbH. Between 2002 and 2006, he was member of the board of T-Online International AG and also in charge of the technology as CTO and CIO; during the first two years he was also responsible for the customer service. Following the merger of T-Online and Deutsche Telekom he became CIO of T-Com/T-Home for Germany and Eastern Europe. In 2008, he transferred to Loyalty Partners group, where he acted as CEO of Loyalty Partner Solutions GmbH until 2011. In 2011, he established the ando consulting & business services GmbH and is connected to several start-up companies and young companies in the new digital services environment. Since 2016 he has been managing partner of several companies of the MC group and ando consulting in association with MC. Andreas Kindt is a personal member of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft as well as GI and VDI.

Thomas Berns

Managing Partner

Following his vocational training as industrial manager at elefanten Schuhe GmbH, Thomas Berns completes his course of studies in economics and politics at Essen University. He then was awarded a scholarship for a master program at the University of Birmingham. In 1996, Thomas Berns participated in the post-graduate program “Fundacíon Mediterranéa” in Cordoba/ Salta in Argentina. He already gained experience as an in-house consultant with Raab Karcher AG during his student training. Subsequently, he was employed as project manager/customer care manager at Raab Karcher Sicherheit Privat GmbH in Essen until 1999. Thomas Berns transferred to T-Online International AG in Darmstadt as Vice President CRM until his employment with the SES Astra group in Munich in 2007.

At SES Astra he was responsible for the planning, strategy and operations of CRM. Thomas Berns is also in charge of international business development and account management for B2B customers (broadcaster), including business case, contract negotiations, sales responsibility, IT etc. He is the quality process leader for the SES Astra association. He also introduced a business process model and is responsible for the introduction of the Six Sigma management approach in the business area.

In 2009, Thomas Berns starts his own consulting business (LS³). As a managing director he implements large organisational and strategic projects as interim manager (IT/ TK/ insurance companies etc.). He carries out technical implementation initiatives focusing on CRM/ marketing/ loyalty management. The business consultant also developed and established strategic partnerships in the technology sector. He has been a senior consultant for the MC Marketing Corporation as well as a managing partner of several companies of the MC group since 2014.

Thomas Berns is a certified COPC VMO Registered Coordinator (responsible for the first successful COPC VMO certification in Europe) and certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt with introduction experience in large companies.
